OVERVIEW
Era Polymers is an Australian owned and operated company specialising in the field of polyurethane chemistry. Era Polymers, being owned and operated by Industrial Chemists, has built an enviable reputation for outstanding product quality and customer service. We also have the unique ability to modify existing formulations as necessary, and to tailor make products to meet new and demanding applications.
The company was established in 1986 and since that time has grown to be the largest independent Systems House in Australia. Additionally we are accredited to AS/NZS ISO9001:2000 quality standard system.

Our Erapol line of polyurethane prepolymers (elastomers) have become the industry standard. We offer a full range of hardnesses in medium to extra high performance products.
  
Chemically we offer elastomer backbones of TDI, MDI, Polyether, Polyester, and Polycaprolactone just to name a few.
In recent years Era Polymers has invested substantially into the polyurethane foam market. The range of foam systems we manufacture covers all rigid and flexible types. In recent times we have increasingly been complimenting our existing 141B and water blown foams with new zero ODP blown products.

These prepolymers and foams are complimented with a complete range of products such as curatives, primers, pigments and release agents. We also supply and service dispensing machinery for spraying, foaming and casting of our products. Indeed we offer a ‘One Stop Shop’, the total package for any polyurethane applicator. Our Laboratories, which are NATA registered, are constantly expanding the horizons of polyurethane chemistry. We have the most advanced polyurethane laboratories in the country, serviced by over 15 of Australia’s leading polyurethane industrial chemists.

The company comprises three main sites. The commercial headquarters are in East Botany, just south of Sydney, whilst the manufacturing and warehousing facilities are in St Marys, NSW. The St Marys sites are purpose built state-of-the-art facilities. Toll manufacturing is another service we can provide due to our large manufacturing capacity and technical expertise in toll manufacturing. Housed on the sites are more than 15 multi-purpose reactors capable of producing product in quantities of 2 to 80 drums. Additionally we have over 15 blending tanks ranging from 2 to 50 drum capacity, fully supported by quality assurance operating to the ISO9001 standard and NATA registered analytical services.
